Wow…what a life so far…just to give you some insight.

My vision is to bring care, flair and integrity into our local market place.

I value the local community and its people - they are important to me.
I am honoured to assist where I am able to and this has resulted in numerous fund raising auctions and motivational speaking appointments.

Recently:

» Auctioning at the Port Lincoln Yacht Club - a phenomenal success in raising funds for Neil Ashman to sail in the World Cup.

» The Port Lincoln Hospital auction, clearing out years of accumulated items.
» A dinner auction with funds assisting the building of the local chemotherapy room.

» Auctioning for the Big Supper at Port Lincoln's Community Church, raising funds for the Cancer Council of SA.

» Auctioning and speaking at the Adelaide Zonta ladies meeting was also a privilege.

» Emcee for the recent Addis Ababa Fistula fundraising Spring Fashion Launch held at Boston Bay Winery.

» Auctioning to raise funds for the Royal Flying Doctor Service on behalf of Eyre Turbulence Committee.

I really enjoy being able to help out by contributing where I can.

Ethics is high on my list of values, including honesty, fairness and trust.

My family and a good quality of life is also something that I like to indulge in. I'm lucky to have learnt a special lesson through my cancer experience that "life is short" and I want to be sure that I make the most of mine and give something back to the community and its people where I can.

Personal profile

Miss Junior South Australia at age 15 in 1985, raised funds for the Epilepsy Assoc. of SA. Travelled and worked 5 years overseas. Settled back in Port Lincoln in 1992.

Introducing the family:-
Amanda + Mick » Married my husband in 1995. Michael is 5th generation local farmer from Charlton. Here we are pictured at the recent successful fundraising event for the Royal Flying Doctors.
Levi with Medal » Levi Proude, our son was born in Port Lincoln, 1996 – he is a very keen athlete and sportsperson. Levi excels at swimming at the local and country levels and recently won gold & silver medals at the State Swimming Championships in Adelaide.

» Soraya Proude our daughter was born in Port Lincoln, 1998. Soraya broke the drought of 122 years of "no girls" in Michael's family - almost resulting in an entry in the Guinness Book of Records! So yes, she is a cherished princess. Soraya won gold at the Whyalla Open Swimming Carnival in 2007 and continues to impress us all.

· We moved from the farm to Port Lincoln in 1998 – and love it!

Began my real estate career in 1999 and have constantly achieved award winning success.
I continued to work through my diagnosis of breast cancer in 2002. Finished treatment early in 2003 and received the all clear. Yeah ho.

Completed my auctioneering and degree in business in 2003.
Opened my innovative and stylish new real estate office in 2004.
Awarded State Winner BankSA Rural Business Awards in 2008.
